Albany Demonstration Garden

Welcome to the Albany Demonstration Garden

Tucked behind the tennis courts at Oceanview Park, 900 Buchanan Street in Albany, you will find the entrance to the Oceanview Community Organic Garden.

Enter through the gate into a peaceful garden. Alameda County Master gardeners utilize three plots in this garden to demonstrate how to grow healthy soil, attract pollinators, and experiment with growing a diverse selection of herbs and other edibles.

Come stroll around this lovely garden for ideas and inspiration for something you may want to try, especially if you are looking for ideas for gardening in a shady area.

Master Gardeners are available to give you the advice to grow by.

The garden is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 1-4 pm.
