In this class, Master Gardeners will discuss best practices for gardening in the East Bay, including watering, organic amendments, pest control, pruning, and plant selection. Bring your questions to the master gardeners! When is the best time to water? What’s the best mulch? How many tomato plants can fit in my space? How do I get rid of aphids without poisons? What about powdery mildew? Learn the methods that yield the best crops without damaging the environment. 

The Hayward Demonstration Garden hosts monthly events on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
