This one-hour talk will cover the dos and don'ts of pruning to maintain health, stimulate growth, and manage the shape and height of the trees for ease of harvesting. We will demonstrate some basic pruning techniques using one of the large plum trees in the community garden. This in-person, outdoor talk may be canceled in case of rain or severe weather.

The Albany Demonstration Garden is tucked behind the tennis courts at Ocean View Park. You can access it by entering through the entrance to the Ocean View Community Organic Garden.
